Purpose of this Notice

MasterCard International Incorporated (doing business as MasterCard Worldwide) and its affiliates (collectively, “MasterCard”) respect your privacy. In operating the MasterPass program (the “Program”), use is made of, and MasterCard invites you upon registration to expressly consent to automated information collection means. These means consist of MasterCard in placing, or accessing, information on your device. This Notice provides you with information about these technologies, their purpose, and whether and how you may reject or disable such technologies, or, subsequently withdraw such consent to them being used on your device.

Technologies used in MasterPass

Cookies and web beacons are used in this Program. A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information that is downloaded on your device's storage mechanism, and can subsequently be accessed by our web servers. A web beacon is an object embedded in and downloaded together with a webpage which accordingly provides information as to the viewing of that webpage. We list those below:

The following information is placed in/collected through the Omniture cookies and web beacons: unique identification number assigned to your device; IP address; browser type; operating system; referring URLs; information on actions taken; dates and times of Program visits. All data collected by Omniture on behalf of MasterCard is aggregated and of a statistical nature
